Ecclesiastes 10:4

If the anger of the ruler rises against you, do not leave your place, for calmness will lay great offenses to rest.

Workout launch - Saturday September 19th 2026

Question: Are you Loyal to Gods placement and response or to circumstances and people?

When friction hits—whether it’s a difficult boss, family tension, or straight-up opposition—the easy option is to bolt. West Sydney is calling it out this week: Loyalty isn't tested when things are good; it's proven when the heat gets turned up.

Staying planted where God put you requires more strength than walking away. When you match heat with a calm, righteous response, you defuse the situation and disarm the enemy's attack.

No half-measures. Lock arms, check your conviction, and let your response do the talking.

Let's work. 🧱🔥

The Word

  1. The scripture above shows us a few things, about where God has placed you, how he called you to respond in that placement and the most important thing to be loyal to what is God and not circumstances or peoples opinions.
  2. Trusting God even though you might have a boss, a relative or someone around your life that is giving you a hard time they might be angry, upset, resentful and this can cause you to be restless and in great discomfort. but we see that if we are loyal to a right response it can actually bring rest….. and who knows  even reconciliation where peace flourishes.
  3. We have the God given opportunity to pacify the offence or the strife that may have happened but that’s all dependant on what we are loyal to, another way of saying it, what’s the level of your conviction when it comes to where God has placed you and you response in that place?
  4. Responding not reacting, is possibly one of the biggest struggles for men, especially when it comes to confrontation or hostility!
  5. Not letting emotions run wild and making rushed or rash decisions.
  6. Your loyalty to a righteous response  can make all the difference in any circumstance you might be facing.
  7. In the above scripture it specifically says GREAT CALMNESS WILL LAY OFFENCE TO REST! Whether you are at work whether it be in Church, family event or even down at the supermarket, us men are challenged constantly BUT our loyalty to God is what makes all the difference.
  8. Solid Men! your righteous response will bring the intensity of any offence to its knees and weaken the enemies attack, in fact we have been given authority and power to bring down the enemy SCRIPTURE: 2 Corinthians 10:4-5 For the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh but have divine power to destroy strongholds. 5 We destroy arguments and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God
  9. When we choose to be loyal to the ways of God, calmness and rest will be the fruit of your labour.
  10. Last point,  DO NOT LEAVE, KEEP YOUR GOD GIVEN POSITION… HOLD FAST is echoed in the scripture above, this is such an important point in our theme loyalty,  as no matter the opposition, you are to remain in that place that God has called you to it has been designed for you and for you to have the biggest impact for God’s kingdom. God doesn’t place us and allow us to go through tough things if he had not equipped us!….STAY LOYAL SOLID MEN
