Revelation 12:10-11

Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say: “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God, and the authority of his Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before our God day and night, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

Welcome to Week 2: OVERCOMING, brought to you by the Newcastle team!

This week, we are stepping up the intensity and anchoring our hearts in Revelation 12:10-11. We conquer not by our own strength, but by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony.

Get ready for an incredible challenge designed to push your limits, build your endurance, and sharpen your spirit as we stand united in faith. Let’s get after it!

The Word

Overcoming by the Blood of the Lamb and Word of our TestimonyJesus bled and died on the cross once and for all. His perfect, sinless sacrifice is more than enough to pay for all our sins and make all of us right. We cannot pay for our own sins, even our deaths would not make things right. But God’s sacrifice for us does this and makes it impossible to be found guilty of any sin since Jesus took the guilt on the cross. Any voice in our minds that being us down in shame, in isolation or humiliation is silenced by the authority of the finished work of Christ. Without the Blood of Jesus we wouldn’t have hope, but he willingly went through and overcame death for us.

Word of their TestimonyWe just believe and speak this out in faith. As we see this amazing truth, Speaking out loud this belief in Jesus is how we spiritually overcome darkness. Speaking out belief in Jesus’ power and love to save us claims the victory over sin personally and victory over all evil. We believe that Jesus ultimately wins and so each of us as we believe and are born into his family we also win. Until that ultimate victory when Christ returns, we live as overcomers through belief in him.Overcoming temptation Overcoming comfort zonesOvercoming fear

As we believe, we love Him more than our own selves and so we even overcome the fear of death to live a fearless overcoming life in any challenge that comes at us.

As the challenges come at you, have confidence in the one who overcame for us and is bringing us through.
